Dental Check-Ups
When you visit our Melbourne CBD dental practice for check-ups every six months, you receive a full scale and clean to remove plaque.
You also receive a full hygiene appointment, where we will check the health of your gums and enquire about your medical history. We’ll also monitor for any signs of oral cancer.
Your dental check-up will end with a polish of a gritty, fluoride-containing paste and a fluoride mouth rinse. You’ll leave your check-up with at-home oral care advice.
Oral Cancer Screening
Cancer patients come to us, as we have a strong background in providing personalised dental care to patients living with cancer or patients with cancer in remission.
We know that certain cancers can affect oral health, and we treat patients sensitively while putting their needs first. Our dentists have training and experience in dental oncology.
All dental visits for any presentation also include screening for signs of oral cancer.
Children’s Dentistry

Child Dental Benefits Schedule
Your child could be eligible to receive dental care with a no gap payment. We participate in the national Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS) which allows eligible children aged between 0-17 years to receive basic dental care on Medicare, up to a two-year limit of $1,052.
Custom Fitted Mouthguards
If you or your child play sports and need a mouthguard, you can purchase one at a pharmacy or sports shop. Or you can come to us for personalised, patient-centred attention.
We’ll take a precise mould of your mouth, and create a custom-fitted mouthguard that will provide maximal protection with a better and more comfortable fit.
We will fit a mouthguard yearly for growing mouths, while adult mouthguards should last at least three years.
Anxious Patients
It’s not uncommon for patients to feel anxious about going to the dentist. Some patients become uncomfortable with a dental surgery’s unfamiliar lights and sounds. Some patients become worried about what we might find, especially if it’s been a while between visits.
